Ryker Dog Training is home to AKC Approved Evaluators. We offer the two AKC evaluations Fresno dog owners ask about most: S.T.A.R. Puppy and Canine Good Citizen.

Two AKC titles.
One trusted evaluator.
Crate training in particular is a prerequisite for Day Training, so this is the place to start if your dog is not there yet.
Puppies up to 1 year
AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy
Socialization · Training · Activity · Responsible Owner
S.T.A.R. Puppy is the AKC's starting point for young dogs. It recognizes puppies who have learned the basics of good manners and owners who are committed to raising a well-adjusted dog. Passing puppies earn the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy title and are on track for the Canine Good Citizen test later on.

AKC Canine Good Citizen
CGC · The 10-step test of good manners
The Canine Good Citizen test is the AKC's gold standard for a well-behaved dog at home and in the community. Dogs work through ten everyday skills, from greeting a friendly stranger to staying calm around distractions. Dogs who pass can earn the official CGC title, and many therapy dog programs, landlords and insurers recognize it.
