I highly recommend Ryker Dog Training

A friend recommended Brittany, the owner of Ryker Dog Training when my dog Maddee was aggressively lunging at strangers and other dogs while on a leash. I had taken her to several trainers before who advocated positive reward training methods only. I knew we needed another training method. I was worried that Maddee might hurt someone one day because of her extreme reactivity. Brittany introduced me to balanced training and taught me how to use an e-collar like police officers use to train their police dogs plus positive rewards. Maddee was able to better understand what to do and what […] Read the full testimonial…

Highly recommend Ryker Dog Training

In January of 2016 we unexpectedly lost our dear companion, Georgia, to cancer. This was a shock for us all, but Frida (a seven year old beagle mix) took Georgia’s passing particularly hard. Grieving the loss of her older sister, our charismatic Frida became despondent and lethargic. For weeks she showed no interest in going for walks, getting her favorite treats, or playing with the family. She no longer enthusiastically greeted us at the door when we returned home from work. And she spent most of her time sleeping on the sofa she had shared with Georgia. It was heartbreaking. […] Read the full testimonial…

Thank you so much Ryker Dog Training!

Before Beef came to training we were having issues with him and his reactions to new people in the house including our roommate once we moved into our new place. Since being at Ryker we now have a direction and steps to take to make him feel more comfortable and less stressed around the house. He is so much better off since the training and we are now working on his dominance issues in a healthy way. Working with the Ryker training we are now even helping our other dog at home too. Thank you so much Brittany for the […] Read the full testimonial…

Her good behavior is a result of good training

Sasha has been in Day Training. Brittany worked with Sasha so that she easily passed the test to become a therapy dog as well as a Tail Waggin Tutor. Brittany is now teaching Sasha tricks. Sasha shows off when she visits nursing homes, spends time at the Fig Garden library and sits with abused children who are waiting to be interviewed. Her good behavior is a result of good training. Sasha knows how to do her “job”. -Barbara

Most trainers don’t accept puppies until they’re six months old. I knew from previous experience it’s important to get a new puppy socialized ASAP, so when I found Ryker accepted dogs two months old and up, I signed up for their puppy class as soon as the next class started. For the first two sessions, little JR hid under my chair and just watched […] Read the full testimonial…
