| GENERAL POLICIES Class Size and Waitlist In order to give all students adequate attention during training classes, class sizes will be limited. If you are unable to secure a spot in the class you desire because the class is full, you may request to be placed on a waitlist for that class. Should a spot become available or another class offered, you will be notified as soon as possible. Right to Decline Enrollment The right to decline enrollment or service is reserved for the trainer and is not disputable. Cancellations If the minimum enrollment for a class is not met 3 days prior to the first class session, the class may be cancelled. We will notify you 3 days before the class was scheduled to begin to see if you would like to enroll in an alternative class, receive credit toward a future class, or receive a full refund. Refund Policy Refunds can be provided if we are notified in writing at least 5 days before the first class session. Refunds may be in the form of a check or credit toward a future class. Check refunds will be sent by mail. If within the first 3 sessions of a class, a dog is unable to attend due to an injury or illness you may receive a refund of 50% or credit toward a future class (trainer's discretion). We regret that no credit or refund can be provided for any reason, after the first 3 sessions of a class. There is a $15 fee for all returned checks. Attendance Owners should sign up for a class session that they can attend. In fairness to all who are attending, handlers should arrive on time to each class as the trainer will not re-visit information already covered for the benefit of the latecomers during class. If you miss an entire class due to unforeseen circumstances, you may schedule a make-up session as a private lesson with the trainer ($40/half hour). If you are certain that a scheduled class time will conflict with your schedule, please contact the trainer prior to registration and see if alternate arrangements that can be made. Families with Dogs We are happy to have other family members and children attend our classes. In order to make it a fun and safe experience for everyone in the class, please review our guidelines:
Aggressive Dogs Dogs that demonstrate aggressive tendencies toward other dogs or humans will be excused from the class setting. Dog aggression issues need to be handled in private sessions. |
