A Message from Kim: There are a lot of trainers and many styles of training. It is important that you trust your trainer and believe in the methods that they use. All trainers have their own technique derived from various sources such as seminars, mentor dog trainers, videos and texts on the subject - but the best source of all is real, hands-on experience (and a lot of it). I have had dogs in my life for 35 years, and have been involved in formal training for the past 23 years. I bring vast knowledge of breeds and behavior, experience training hundreds of dogs, and many creative techniques to my clients. Because I draw my experience from more than just competition obedience, I have developed creative ways to view problems and obtain solutions. My training methods are effective and humane, but will take some effort on the part of the owner to be successful.
